AEF supported the local Centre of Environmental Education and Sustainability through a direct donation, with which the Centre managed to purchase equipment: telescopes, iPads, photo cameras. This equipment will be used by the teachers in the field educational programmes for school students. Students from the region as well as from all over Greece visit this Centre and participate in interactive educational activities which take place at the wetland of Nea Kios and other beautiful natural landscapes of the area. Mrs Panagou the director of the Centre thanked AEF for the generous support when talking to the local Media at AEF’s celebration of the World Environment Day at the wetland.
